Camden FireWorks presents the solo exhibition of Cerena Robertson’s art from January 19 to March 2, 2025. Reflecting on My Roots illustrates Cerena’s experience integrating into Philadelphia society as a first generation American with roots in Jamaica.

Artist Bio
Cerena Robertson is an emerging oil painter from Philadelphia. From the age of five, she began teaching herself how to draw, driven by a desire to create art that reflected her unique vision. By age fifteen, Cerena began painting professionally, sharing her work and quickly gaining recognition on multiple social media platforms.
Although she began her artistic journey with colored pencil drawings, Cerena has a focus on acrylic and oil painting. and her work is characterized by bright pigments and a semi-realistic style. After graduating high school, she briefly attended Temple University to pursue art, she left school to work in the arts full-time as a career.
