Call For Entries

Camden FireWorks is pleased to announce an open call for male-presenting artists to participate in an upcoming exhibition inspired by Bell Hooks’ seminal book, The Will to Change: Men, Masculinity, and Love. This exhibition seeks to explore and visualize the themes addressed in Hooks’ work, including the transformation of masculinity, the healing power of love, and the quest for emotional wholeness.

Camden FireWorks opened in Camden, NJ in June of 2016. Camden FireWorks’ mission is to use art to create social change. As the only multidisciplinary art gallery in Camden, New Jersey, we have featured artwork from diverse artists representing a variety of disciplines. In addition, we offer studio rentals, art workshops, and hosts exhibitions and cultural performances in our 1889 firehouse.
