For the first time ever, Camden FireWorks is embarking on storytelling using shadow theater and short film!

The film project will show a young girl in Camden as she learns to navigate environmental injustice in Waterfront South. You are invited to attend our series of weekend workshops which will culminate in a recorded short film. Our desire is that this project will open up the time, space, and togetherness for acknowledging the resilience of Waterfront South.

Participants* are welcome to join us in either or all of the workshops which will be facilitated by artist Maisie O’Brien. Workshops are scheduled from 1 to 3 pm on October 29, November 12 and November 19. This workshop series is good for participants* age 8 and older.

*All participants will be listed as contributors to this project in the film credits.
